Brittany has always loved animals, with dogs being her #1 love.  Brittany started her handling career at the age of 15, showing her Aunt's new Leonberger puppy.  That was the beginning of her launch into the show world!  Britt has a natural way with dogs and the dogs seem to just want to please her. 

Britt has worked very closely with Sheena Melone, who has taught her all the ins & outs of showing her dogs to their full potential.  When we first started taking classes 3 years ago, we had no idea what we were getting into!  Britt has come a long way from that first class.  Brittany particpated in Junior Handling at some of the shows she went to and was invited to the Alberta Junior Handling Finals in April of 2007 at the RDDKC Show.  She went on to place 1st in the Senior Novice Class!

Brittany continues to learn and develop her skills through seminars, classes & hands on expereince.  She will be attending this year's K9 College Cruise  in March 2008, leaving from Ft Lauderdale and travelling through the Caribbean.  She is looking forward to the seminars and excursions for the week!

Brittany graduated in June 2007 and knew she wanted to be a groomer.  She did work experience through school with Sheena Melone through the last her last year of school.  Now she has gone onto work and apprentice at Dog Central in Red Deer.  Alice, Nicole and Landra have been there to help her continue to learn how to groom just about any breed and cats too!
